Inspired by the Past, Designed for Your Future
"Born in Vietnam, and raised in Vancouver BC, Canada from a young age, my perspective on fashion was shaped between cultures.
From early on, I was drawn to the elegance of European couture — especially the art of corsetry. I became fascinated by how structure could shape the body, define the silhouette, and create a quiet sense of confidence without excess.
As a teen, I didn’t have a closet full of clothes. I had a carefully chosen wardrobe: three pairs of jeans, a handful of sweaters and tees, and a coat or two that lasted for years. Back then, fashion wasn’t about quantity — it was about quality, longevity, and personal meaning.
That early experience shaped my design philosophy today.
I have always been drawn to form — the way a garment can shape, support, and bring balance. This is where Dahlia begins. Through thoughtful construction and corsetry techniques, each piece is designed to define the waist, support the form, and create a silhouette that feels both structured and effortless.

Design Process
Each Dahlia piece begins in our in-house atelier, where every design is developed from the ground up with precision and intention. We build from structure first — using corsetry techniques to shape the waist, define the silhouette, and support the body with balance and ease.
The finest fabrics are carefully selected for their ability to hold form and move with the body. Through multiple fittings, each piece is refined, crafted to perfection, and engineered to achieve harmony between structure and softness. With a conscious approach to making, we prioritize ethical practices and minimize waste at every stage — creating with intention, never excess.
